Do you support the U.S. Constitution or do you think it gives you too many rights and freedoms?

The Constitution does not "give" any rights to the People. All it does is PROTECTS the rights we already have. All you have to do is read it. No where does it say that that any rights are granted. Instead, it says things like "Congress shall pass no laws", "the rights of the People shall not be infringed", and so on. The real kicker that proves is is the 9th Amendment:
"The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people."
This specifically states that the People have rights that are not listed in the Constitution, and just because it's not listed does not mean the government can infringe on those rights.
So yes, I do support the Constitution PROTECTING my rights instead of allowing the government to take them away.

I support the Constitution because I am an American citizen. Whether it gives me too many rights (or not enough) is not relevant, that's just my opinion. The Constitution provides for legislators and courts, to deal with difference of opinions.

Including the parts that describe what must be done to change it.
It's the people who apparently think it was divinely inspired and whose nationalist stupidity make them believe it is perfect and unchangeable that drive me crazy.
