Question about high blood sugar.?

My husband was diagnosed with high blood sugar recently (in the 300;s)  He used to weigh 230 and should weigh 185.   He weighs 178 now. He is 6;3 tall.  We seemed to have his blood sugar down but now it is going upward.  We are watching his carbs,  He is walking,et

He works night shift and it is hard to adjust though.  Anyone have any ideas?  I hate to see him lose more weight.  He looks skin and bones.  Please help.doctor thinks she can help him and has not sent him to an endocrinologist.

This team can help him work on a proper diet plan and help control the diabetes.
