98 landrover freelander 2.0 diesel tailgate issues?
I have a 98 landrover freelander 2.0 diesel and the tail gate will not open. when I pull the handle, the window lowers as it should and a clicking noise happens but the door will not release? any ideas/past experiences with these things?

Sounds like the servo has frozen or broke a tooth (on the gear). Not familiar with the make so sorry not sure if there is anything you can do without taking the lining off the door inner and seeing if you can manually open it.
