HELP! Why I am such a romantic(female)?
Im almost 17, and Im going I to my senior year. I've been in two relationships that were serious, each about two years. Ive had a few flings. But I always find myself wanting my Mr.Perfect. The thought of this consumes me everyday to the point that its all I think about. Why do I do this to myself? I know I will never find any one like the last guy I dated. I messed it up. But Its been almost a year and Im so lonely. Im sick of meeting guys who just want sex. I need someone in my life that will just love me. I'd date up to 20years old I suppose. Help?!

There is a lot more to life than an unrealistic all consuming love obsession. Love yourself and do things that make you feel good and eventually you'll find someone who will enhance your life. You have this obsession because women are socially programmed to base their worthiness on this romanticized view of the world and love and relationships.
