I have this freaky/weird file on my computer. It's composed of random letters and numbers. Should I remove it?

what is the name of the file, the file extension, and where in your directory structure is it located? It is possible that you have associated a system file or dll file to open with a text editor... which will produce the "random letters and numbers" among other things you've described. It doesn't necessarily mean it is harmful (though it could be).

yes remove it if you cannot download malwarebytes and scan your computer/ the file and if its a virus then it should delete automaticly
