What does "ore" mean?
HerbivORE, CarnivORE, and I forgot the third one.
I look up 'ore' and they are talking about minerals.
I don't think this is the same o-r-e.

That's because the suffix is "vore" not "ore"
-vore
a combining form meaning “one that eats” what is specified by the initial element.

The other word you are probably thinking of is "omnivore" which means will eat anything.

Ore does refer to minerals. But herbivore, carnivore and omnivore refer to what animals and humans eat.
Herbivore -- grass eater
Carnivore -- meat eater
Omnivore -- eats everything
