Does quitting soda make you tired?
Just the other day I stopped drinking soda and I'm trying to only drink water. Before this I would drink around five cans of soda a day and I'm trying to stop so I can lose weight. However, just after the first day without soda I am feeling really tired and out of it. I was wondering how long this feeling will last and if there is a way I can fix it without drinking other caffeinated beverages.
Thanks for your time :)

well remember soda has sugar, and sugar gives you energy, and well you were having that constant energy boost from the five daily sodas and when you decided to stop your body stopped producing as much energy... In other words, yes, after having drunk 5 daily sodas for a while and quitting you will feel a false sense of tiredness, since your body energy is back to normal. Your body just needs to get used to the normal level of energy and if you keep drinking JUST water, it will get better and you will feel like your old self... Drink tons of water though, need to clean out what the soda may have done to your liver :P

Some sodas do have caffeine, drinking water is much better. good for you! Try drinking green tea iced or hot, it'll give you energy as well because of the caffeine

Yes it does, but only at first. Your body is adjusting, it's used to flushing out sodas, but now it isn't. Which that is good! But you will feel a lot better within two weeks. I guarantee you.

Yes and you usually have a headache from withdrawing from caffeine. It takes about 2 weeks to get back to normal.

You can't fix caffeine withdrawal, you just have to wait it out.
