He WASN'T IMPEACHED FOR GETTING A BJ!!! He WAS impeached for lying under oath to Congress. Don't be so gullible!

So you want Obama impeached I see

Clinton was impeached for lying to a grand jury under oath something the dimwitted Democrats do all the time, take the IRS investigation, Fast and Furious, and Obama LYING and committing FRAUD on Obamacare

Are you aware that there were articles of impeachment filed against Reagan, Bush Sr., Clinton, GW Bush and Dick Cheney?

It seems to be a favorite topic among Democrats that the Republicans like to use the "Impeachment" card, but history would show that it is at the very least a political maneuver from both parties. There were 35 articles of impeachment against Bush for everything from the Iraq war to Katrina to the economy. This effort also extended to the impeachment of Dick Cheney.

On January 16, 1991, Congressman Henry B. Gonzalez introduced H. Res. 34, to impeach President George H. W. Bush for starting the Gulf War

On March 6, 1987 Rep. Henry B. Gonzalez, Democrat of Texas, introduced articles of impeachment against President Ronald Reagan regarding the Iran Contra affair, leading to the joint hearings that dominated the summer. A special prosecutor was appointed.

Both sides use impeachment very carefully to smear the other side - and in current news, it seems as though it is in the best interest of the Democrats and the White House to keep the story of Republican Efforts To Impeach Obama alive, simply because of the negative press it can bring to Republicans. John Boehner has stated unequivocally that Impeachment is off the table. True, people like Sarah Palin continue to call for it, but she is irrelevant - she is not in Government, she is a commentator.

Congressmen and lawyers on both sides understand that there is no real basis for impeachment and even if there were, the process would be stalled right along party lines - it is not a good political move.

Therefore, for the DNC and the White House to keep this story alive is fodder for smearing the Republicans, and the American Public eats it up.

The headline of that article is

"If Conservatives Try to Impeach Obama, He’ll Have the Last Laugh"

Both sides know this very well - so ask yourself why it is so constantly in the news?

he was impeached for lying under oath. I know you liberals don't have a problem with lies--but really--you want a commander in chief whose word means something

    Selective senses on the matter.

When people do the job they claim they want, and the description of the duties required to maintain it properly, we don't have these types of happenings getting in the way of progress of what is good.

Clinton got impeached for committing perjury before congress, any other person would have gotten 3-5 years, latest example of mainstream....Lil Kim got a bid of 4 years for the same crime!

Republicans use impeachment as a tool to tie the hands of the President, not for it intended use to prevent government abuse. That is why they investigated Clinton's extra-marital affair and then pursued impeachment for him lying to them about it, but they didn't investigate Bush's lies to get us into Iraq.

Clinton was impeached for perjury, not the BJ itself.

We're asking those questions and working on it. It is a responsibility of the public to be both knowledgeable and functional in re to War Crimes since States do not have the authority to manage the issues of War Crimes. All War Crimes must be resolved by the common citizen in that all war crimes are protected by the State, by definition.
