My life is tough?

I used to work on the docks, Union's been on strike. I'm down on my luck..It's so tough.

My girlfriend Gina works in the Diner all day. She works for her man, she brings home her pay for love.

But she says we've gotta hold on to what we've got, cause it won't make a difference if we make it or not. She says we've got each other and that's a lot for love.

We'll give it a shot
