I watched DBZ. One Piece, Naruto, FMA Brotherhood, Bleach, etc. When I was a kid I used to love anime with lots of fighting in them, now I'm 15 and I just find it boring, I really don't see what's so interesting about having lots of action all the time as opposed to actually writing a decent plot and interesting characters.

My favourite Shonen is Hunter X Hunter. Mainly because it tries to avoid Shonen cliches and find ways to be interesting without having to resort to unnecessary action scenes. It's actually well thought out and not very generic at all.

I watched the first 36 episodes and I hated it. The story is pretty crappy, the fanservice is obnoxious, the main characters are really bad (Lucy does jackshit, Natsu is OP as **** and hasn't lost once) and nothing of interest actually happens so why do people like it?

Brotherhood is my favorite anime of all time but 03 has a kinda charm Brotherhood doesn't have. ( I miss Frank Archer dammit T_T)

IMO FMA 03 had cooler concepts like the 2 worlds being connected and how the homunculi were created ( Hail Fuhrer Pride). Brotherhood had a better story though

Most anime fans hate dubs because apparently they Americanize em, change names and **** up the plot. This isn't like the days of 4Kids and Speed Racer people. Most dubs by FUNimation, Bandai and Viz Media are great like Code Geass, Gurren Lagann, Fullmetal Alchemist, Yu Yu Hakusho etc

Most people who say **** like "The Japanese are always better!" are idiots, most of them can't even speak Japanese so how would they know? They may think an anime has great voice acting but the Japanese public think that they sound like a bag of cats drowning. I've even heard the Japanese like the dub of Code Geass more than the original. Yu Yu Hakusho was written like a stereotypical shonen series and it shows, the Japanese voice actors barely even tried the dub actually showed it some respect.

I just don't get it.
