Okay for some reason I wanna play Pokemon Yellow again and I need team building help

Only 1 starter. Preferably Blastoise or Venusaur
No legendaries
Nothing I have to trade for
I was thinking
Blastoise
Dodrio
Arcanine
Rhydon
Dragonite

I think it sounds good, but I think that either a grass type like Vileplume or a Ghost type like Haunter would be a better choice than Dodrio. I'm just saying that because I never liked Dodrio for some reason and I would rather have any type other than Normal unless its cute like Teddiursa or Clefairy :3 Good choice on Squirtle over Bulbasaur by the way, and I always did love having Arcanine XD I think I might go back to playing Gold on my Gameboy for old times sake now :D xxx
