What should I text my roommate?

say hi my name is (your name) i just found out we are going to be roommates. they will respond something along the line of hey im (their name) nice to meet you or whats up. you can then ask what they are going to bring to the dorm and what you have brought already like a tv or mini fridge and if you have a bathroom what to put in the bathroom. you can ask about their sleep schedule and what classes they are taking. if they stay up late and how they feel about people staying the night or just coming into the dorm during the day. ask if they want to leave the door open to meet people or if they would rather have it closed at all times. ask if they snore if they eat in the room if they are interested in hanging out or if they just want to be roommates and not interested in being friends. ask how they want the room setup if you want to bunk beds or split the room in half. if you are a girl ask if they mind sharing clothes or any of their stuff. ask what music they like and what shows they watch. ask if they want to get matching sheets or have a color scheme for the room. if they want to be near the window if they talk loud on the phone or skype if they would do it in the hall at night. if they like to walk around in their under clothes or sleep naked. if they are sexually active and if you guys can come up with a code to let the other person know they want the room to themselves and their partner for a while.
