Why do Racist and Sexist people hide behind their computers or positions, but would never actually say not a word in person to these peop?.?

Because trolling on the webs consists of hiding their identity and they know that no one can hurt them if they're behind the computer.

It can be a topic which mine was that had nothing to do with any particular race or sex. It was for educational purpose for intelligent people to engage in conversation yet the racists people run in packs like wolves and Im really confuse....is this a mental disorder that we need to start classifying so these people can get treatment? Its getting way out of hand now with the advancement of the web.

They have nothing going for them in real life..they start to connect this internet world with their own peculiar reality..they feel empowered to do and say what they never would say if that actually had to confront someone or do something brave or life altering in real life..let us just pray that they don't revert to theater or school massacre types b/c they gradually may not be able to tell the real from the internet.

I've always assumed that people who are racist/sexist online usually only do it over the internet because it's not face to face, they can't slap you.
