Which is a more interesting story, the Garden of Eden or Pandora's Box?

Both are stories about a woman doing something she was told not to and unleashing death, pain, sickness, etc on the world.

Which is more interesting as a story, putting aside personal beliefs on whether they're true?

    The resemblances don't end there.

    - Pandora is supposed to be the first woman, created in the forge of Hephaestus, clothed and taught by Athena, as a gift for man. Eve is supposed to be the first (human) woman, created from man's rib, as a mate for man.

    - There's a supernatural being who seems to want to help humanity. There's the Serpent in the Garden of Eden who wants to help humanity eat from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. And there's Prometheus, who wants to gift humanity with the secret of fire.

    - In both myths, woman is tempted by curiosity, and the desire for knowledge.

    - In both myths, woman brings death and suffering.

    - But in the myth of Pandora's Box, woman saves hope from being unleashed.

Despite the fact that Hesiod's description of Pandora (and all women) is even more misogynistic than the Bible's disdain for Eve, I like the enigmatic ending of the Pandora myth. Did she do a good thing by ensuring hope was not lost, or does it imply there's no hope for the world?

Garden of Eden. Talking animals always make a story more interesting.

I like the Garden of Eden. Talking Snakes reminds me of the 'Jungle Book'. Itself probably based on the bible but what the hell.

Pandora's Box is more interesting for me

The interesting part about both is that men blame women for their mistakes... ;)
