The Watchtower Society has taken a horrible mistranslation of The Holy Scriptures and made it worse?

If the day should come that the NWT is removed or banned - give me WHATEVER translation is available and I can point people to the TRUTH of God's word.

Translations are like food - all food is good. Some is a bit better than others. But you can live on any of the food.

So if one translation uses the word "car" and the other uses "automobile" (illustration) I get the point and I can share that point with others.

I definitely appreciate the NWT. But I became one of Jehovah's Witnesses using a King James. BEFORE the NWT was available. So I KNOW it can be done.

I studied Greek in college and seminary. I am now an agnostic atheist, but I can still say without caring if anyone contradicts me that the New World Translation is an intentional mistranslation to justify JW doctrines.

I mean, you can contradict me if you want, but there's no reason to, unless you're a JW who hasn't studied Greek.

"Horrid"? Is the NWT a person or personality, then?

Horrid: unpleasant or unkind, as in "Don't be so horrid!"

Where, pray tell, is JW doctrine "satanic"?

How dark is the worlds hearts that --the only ones with enough love for God to put his personal name back, gets condemned by the darkness. Men had 0 right to remove Gods personal name in the nearly 6800 places in the ot--where--GOD--LORD are. Yhwh( Jehovah) is the name that belongs there--every translation without the name in those spots are the altered translations.

The NWT is in harmony with the teachings of Jesus., trinity translations are erred to fit Catholicism council teachings. You have it backwards.

Do a comparision of bibles. Most Jehovah's Witnesses have done so, and when they either do personal study or with others they compare.

In fact, the Watchtower does the same!!! This is how I know that you are just with a HATE AGENDA!

Are you a scholar that you think you can denounce the NWT? And what makes you think the new one is worse? You ask if people agree with you? Why are you asking people who aren't scholars, their opinion on a Bible translation?

The "Holy Scriptures", as you refer to them, are a work of fiction, so does it really even matter?

Pretty much everyone outside of the JW's knows it's a horrible translation deliberately altered to fit JW's beliefs.

One way to tell it is a joke of a version is that ZERO,NONE, NOT ANY

accredited Bible scholars anywhere use it or quote from it.

No theologian teaches from it.
