Laptop questions. Does anyone know if an i3 3110m bottleneck 850m ddr3?
I've searched around internet but there is no direct answer. Most answers on internet just say buy desktop or get i5/i7 or buy real quad-core i7 laptops.
Does anyone know? Even benchmark for i3 seems to be rare.
Sorry typo, 4110m.

It's not an ideal combo but it should be fine, There may be a slight bottleneck but it would most likely be negligible. Keep in mind though, i3 processors don't tend to take well to heat and laptop OEM's often include throttling systems to keep temperatures in check. Throttling can be avoided with good cooling practices, but in the event you do encounter it, games become unplayable due to sketchy framerates.

No it won't bottleneck. I know a few people who have had similar system configurations, and they haven't had any problems with bottlenecking.
The 850M isn't a very powerful graphics card, so the i3 3110m will be able to handle it.
