True science isn't ideological, environmentalist are. The agenda of science is to know, the agenda of environmentalism is to control.

Actually, environmentalists are more interested in science than most conservatives. They are also more concerned with preserving the environment and conserving resources, evolution, and prevention of extinctions. Most conservative that I know are more concerned with making money, cutting more trees, and paving over farmland to build factories, houses and strip malls. Just what is wrong to be concerned about the environment. Do you like to drink pure water and breathe pure air? I do.
