We are going to file fraud tomorrow. But, can they find out who did this?

Of course they can find out. But for the same reasons Obama and Eric Holder doesn't want to prosecute illegal immigrants, they also done want to prosecute them when they commit crimes. So, if your identity thief is Mexican, the government may just wink at them and tell your fiance to find a job.
