If a picture is worth a thousand words, what's the value of a parable?

Depiction and written language are both open to interpretation by each of us! Prior translations by many may hinder our thought process or define it! Is my two cents worth today of thought worth more or less by other preconceived notions in literary form read or viewed with out thought on our part of the original intent of its concept! Is mankind only a thinking being? Should the world now be viewed as universe? Is down to Earth a travel term now instead of a norm of life! Can you see where I'm coming from and having stars in your eyes has a new light for me in thought! If pictures of thought from parables in life create our values, how much are we worth?

I don't believe a picture is worth a thousand words, nor a parable necessarily displays a moral truth. Both can be misinterpreted by the viewer or listener. A painting may mean different things to different people, all of which might not fit well with the message from the artist. A photograph is simply a snap shot of a instant in time and location, it does not necessarily show the broader picture and can be used as propaganda. Only truth ultimately matters, and this is best described in plain language void of opinion.

Not quite as much as a parable paints the picture for us.

A picture takes us to the author's desk to write the story.

There are then as many stories as there are viewers of the render.

In the vast entity that is our universe, we are insignificant and worthless. (And so are parables, too.)
