It may well happen. American televangelist Wendy Alec has written a series of novels about the War in Heaven. (The "Chronicles of Brothers" series). And while I hate to say this - they're really quite good. if you set aside the fact they're Christian polemics and written to support the Evangelical Christian position, you can view them as expanded Biblical fan fiction, or as entertaining fantasy fiction. Of course, we all know the story and how it ends - no surprises in the last chapter. Sooner or later there's going to be a movie... Satan rebels, war in heaven, establishes Hell, Inc, suborns the human race, his brother Christos leads the fightback, Satan gets curb-stomped, Armageddon,Rupture, last judgement, Kingdom of Heaven, lake of fire, some of them lived happily ever after, end.

Well, John Milton wrote a poem about Lucifer's rebellion, and his temptation of the first man & woman in the Garden, so I guess it might be alright.

Not by definition which means to speak evil of divine majesty

I'd like to see Spielberg do something like that!

If it is factually based, then who would portray God.

The motives would be relevant to it being blasphemous or not.

Mentality and spirituality is fused, the nature of the stage is to keep people in the world - And if your the one peddling it, well, how Satanic of you!
