What part of humanity could biotechnology take away from human beings?

I'm not really asking, but actually asking if this would be too broad a topic for a 10-15 page, double-spaced essay.

Originally I had written about cognitive enhancement and every instrument to implement it and she said that in order to write about that, I'd need a book.

Do you think I can get away with covering "humanness" and biotechnology in 10-15 pages, double-spaced?

Thank you =)

its a fantastic area of investigation

the premise that it "takes away" need not be the focus but instead the challenges to how we and society understand humanity

already we have seen significant debate in the sporting field about prosthesis which provides for an entry level discussion for all that may follow

questions about robotic or other replacement limbs and other organs making competitors more competitive have already occupied sporting governing bodies

questions the ethics around designer genes, stem cell usage and much more have been discussed broadly already

further we will have designed humans, AI, cyborgs, animals with enhanced intelligence
