This HPEnvy15" notebook is about 1.5 years old.
I have always connected to wifi with no problems.

It's an option I've never enabled or even been to that page before.
If I enable that, would it speed up my internet or something else good might happen?
I have never used it before or even seen that "Enable intel connection settings" box before. .as I have never been into that area of my PC before.
Here is some background info and my notebook's specs;
I am connected to wifi via my family's Netgear wireless router next door that is within range of my house
Here are the specs on my notebook;
HP Envy15 Notebook PC
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3610QM CPU @ 2.30GHz @.30 GHz
RAM - 8.00 GB
64-bit Operating system
Also; Here is a totally new different screenshot of my Device Manager showing the menus of everything I thought could help you answer my question;

The Intel WiFi driver package includes it's own connection manager.
It works in a similar but not identical way to the built-in Windows connection manager.
It's far better than the old Win XP one, but not really needed with Windows 7 etc.
It is purely the connection settings & initialising the connection, it won't have any effect on how a WiFi connection works once established.
