Is it legal to hold music(mp3, ogg, or in wave forms) of games/music cds that you now longer own?

Update:

For example, I used to have steam account and got many games on it. Some games had ogg music in the folder once installed. If I gave away steam account, is it illegal for me to hold the ogg files?

How about game demos that have music files in them? If I uninstall the demos, is it illegal to hold the music?

Also what about mmo(rpg) that got shut down? Some of them got music files as well.

Update 2:

I'm asking about legality not about the probability of being caught by police.

Yeah, you already paid for it so dont worry. The police has better things to do.
