Traveling guides to Australia?

Hello I'm 20 from Malaysia . Was planning for a solo travel to Australia for most up to 2 weeks time departs from Singapore . I had ever post this question before and I got back that I should fly to Darwin then head south to Alice spring and Uluru , fly to Melbourne , Canberra , then Sydney and fly back from Darwin . I wonder if I can get to know another more budget traveling ways which include more with trains or buses.

For cheap travel within Australia you have two options - bus and flying. Australia is huge. and if you are only in Australia for two weeks, you do not have the time to spend half of that time in buses getting from one place to another. Flying is your only real option. Well ahead of time go into the Qantas, Jetstar and Virgin websites and look at flights available and the fares and you will find some good bargains.

Trains are fun, particularly the Ghan from Darwin to Adelaide stopping at Alice Springs but they take as long as the bus and are far more expensive.

Flying is the only way to travel around Australia. If you need to cut costs then reduce the number of destinations.

I suggest you cut out Darwin, Melbourne and Canberra, and add in Cairns or the Gold Coast for a cheaper and better experience. Tasmania is also brilliant but it will add a lot to your costs.

in comparison with Malaysia the distances here are vast

bus and train travel is NOT a budget means of travel

the only time you need bus and train travel is when you are in a city getting around

flying is the cheapest here particularly if you plan and book ahead

also you need to realise you are attempting a major journey with a minimum time period
