how long after you got off birth control pills until you got pregnant?
My husband and I have been given the green light to start trying again and are very excited. With our first it took over 2 years with our second only 2 months. I have been on orthotricyclene for 3 months. I was just wondering what your thoughts were? I know my cycle and my ovulation so that's a positive I guess lol.

My cousin was told that it could take up to 1 year to "de-tox" from the pill. So, she planned a trip to Thailand with her husband as 1 last fling, and gutted her kitchen for a planned re-model she wanted completed while they were gone.
She peed a positive pregnancy test exactly 1 month to the day of her doctor's appointment.
LOL!
Thailand was out. They barely finished the kitchen before the baby was born.
So, I wish you all my cousin's luck!

Ortho Tri-Cyclen suppresses ovulation, so while you were on it you wouldn't know a cycle with ovulation. How long it takes your system to get back to triggering ovulation is completely individual, there's no way to say. It could be the first month of it, it could be a year later.

I got pregnant during my third cycle of being off the pill. I quit the pill last August and had two shorter than usual cycles and then got pregnant in October. I had a baby 11 months after stopping the pill!
