LDS Having dsiowned one of your offspring, would you let them use your preparedness supplies in a disaster or let them die?

I can't think of a reason I would ever disown one of my children...and I can't think of a reason I wouldn't do everything in my power to help them or keep them alive if I could

I don't know anyone that has disowned their child for any other reason except that their behavior was so destructive that they had to sort of let them hit rock bottom, usually due to drugs/alcohol. Even then they weren't disowned. The parents just didn't enable them anymore.

I can sort of imagine disowning a child who was a Serial Killer or Paedophile but disowning a child for NOT sharing a belief in your particular Imaginary Friend is taking Drama Queen to a rather absurd dimension, dontcha think ;) ?

Scientology is just as provable as any other religion.

I find that fact just totally awesome.

With the staggering teen suicide and teen homelessness in Utah and other heavily LDS areas, I'd have to say that the evidence shows that they are just allowed to die.
