I keep getting texts from an anonymous person! What should I do?

I keep getting texts from this anonymous person, only it's coming from a blocked number so I can't tell who it is! It's scary because they seem to always be watching me and know all my secrets and such! I've tried finding out his/her identity, but they are so good at hiding. All they leave after each text is the letter "A", but besides that I've no clues... What should I do?

Update:

Holly you're right! A texted me saying I must watch Pretty Little Liars tomorrow night or my family disappears! :(

So I assume you've come out straightforward and asked who it was?

Ok then if you have, you can call your phone company if you feel threatened and I think (for a fee) they can "unblock" the contact as long as said caller (don't know about texts, didn't know they could be sent anonymously) is the last person to call your phone. So, call your phone company from your hard line.

Source(s): My friend had a problem with prank calling and that's what he did. I believe that's what he did, or it was something like that. One of our idiot friends posted his number on 4chan... Idiot....

You should just block that person from texting you. If you're being texted from someone you don't know, I really suggest not to text back. I heard that texting back can give them personal information and whatnot.

You can't block your number when you text someone. You can when you call someone. It's probably just a friend messing with you.

Considering they're saying that your family could dissapear if you don't follow their request, send them a picture of a gun. But don't do anything illegal. And anyways he/she is probably just trolling.
