Can drinking fizzy drinks when you have diabetes type 2 make you feel strange.?

    Well, fizzy drink are probably not a good idea if you do have Type 2 Diabetes, however I'm not sure if they'll make you feel weird.

    If you are going to drink something fizzy (which I don't recommend as it could shoot your blood sugar levels through the roof) then go for sugar free versions and maybe even something like carbonated water.

    Absolutely, yes, if the drinks are regular (sweetened) soda/pop. This will raise your blood sugar (glucose) level very quickly.

    It's not only what it's doing to your blood sugar levels now, but what's going to happen once you start to develop diabetic complications.
