Trying to free up space on my iPhone?

Update:

I have a 16GB iPhone 4S, and I've had a lot of problems with it the past few days (it keeps making music that I deleted ages ago reappear on my iPhone, however it is not in my iTunes library so I can't delete it). I am trying to clear out my phone a bit. It is telling me that I have about 2GB of music, 1 GB of photos, 1 GB of videos, 1 GB of apps, 1 GB of documents and data, and 6.7 GB of "other". What exactly goes into this "other" category and how can I reduce it?

'Other' is your phone's 'soul' not it's brains. Other is everything you've ever done and never erased. It's all your text message threads from 2013 that you don't get rid off, it's every game score and level you've ever made in any game, it's every chat, every social update you've ever made, it's everything. It's the bloat and fat that you make the phone do and why it gets slow lazy and bloated later. See this link for all of the housekeeping tips you are going to need to do.

See my FB app below. Notice how the app itself is 109mb in size? But notice that it is holding 1.2gb of stuff? That's all my bloated fat in-app activity and that 1.2gb counts towards 'Other'. See the think and happy cleaning. Best luck.
