we are planning a trip to Orlando! and we were thinking about November- how is it in November & what would you recommend we do while there?
we have been together twelve years and really want to get away for once, we love theme parks so figured Orlando would be the place to go..we were thinking 8 nights and want to check out Universal Studios for sure. any other tips you could give us to save money or things we could check out? also people that have done this before are the ticket bundles worth the money?
Thanks

The week of Thanksgiving is a crazy time, but the rest of November is a great time to visit. Low crowds, comfortable weather.
I'm not sure what ticket bundles you are talking about. There are few legitimate discounts on the park tickets down there, although Universal does sometimes bundle with other area parks. Disney does not, and there are virtually no legitimate discounts to Disney. Buying multi-day tickets does save you some on the per-day price.
I'd do Universal and Disney. Maybe go to Sea World if you find you have the time.

Okay, so I'm one of the people who have gone during Thanksgiving week. It's busy, but honestly, it isn't any busier than the times I've been in August. The difference is that the weather is much more pleasant at Thanksgiving than in August. I had no choice because both my friend and I are in the education field, so we can pretty much only go around school breaks. (I have only slightly more flexibility than she does, but I can't just afford to take many unpaid days off of my job for a vacation.)
If you were planning on going during Thanksgiving, don't worry. It's not as busy as other major holidays.
There are moderately long wait times, but honestly, I never waited any longer for a ride at Thanksgiving (Wednesday through Sunday) than I did in August. It isn't that bad as long as you go in with a plan and don't hop back and forth all day long.
The weather is much more pleasant-- not too hot. It can get downright chilly at night, but that's nothing that a hoodie and pants can't fix. Dress appropriately; don't plan for 90-degree days-- plan for 70s, and 50s/60s at night. I come from Buffalo, so usually, I'm coming from 30s/40s in terms of temps, so anything higher than that is warm to me by then. :-D
If you're buying tickets, I would only buy from Disney or a Disney-authorized reseller. (Same with Universal tickets!) There are very, very few legitimate discounts, and they are mostly only a few dollars at the very best. You know you won't get burned buying tickets from them.
I would suggest a dining plan. There is a free dining plan available for the fall that would save you plenty of money, too. I took advantage of it for my December trip last year.

I have no idea what you mean by ticket bundles. Legitimate tickets are only sold directly by Universal or by the Disney company or by 100% authorized sales agents. Maybe some hotel will try to sell you tickets "bundled" in with their room sales. I would be very careful with these. Be extremely careful with "sales" of unused tickets on Craigs or Ebay. These tickets are worthless and are total scams, November in general at the parks in the Orlando area is one of the best times to visit. Maybe a little busy for the weekend of Thanksgiving, but normally is one of the slowest months.

Do not go the week of Thanksgiving or the weekend after Thanksgiving.
It can be cold at night.
And as reinaldok posted- by direct from Universal and/or Disney ONLY.
