How to make friends?

I went through the same thing my Freshman year, I had started a brand new school and didn't know anyone!

It's terrible at first, but chances are you will be forced to talk to someone at one point or another (for instants you may have to be assigned a partner in your science class).

Try and come out of your shell! I was also quite shy as a Freshman. Just try and find one person at least whom you think looks nice. Start a convo see what you have in common and go from there.

I'm a freshman and I just started on Wednesday. I like to hang around my friends friends and get to know them. For the people in your class, just go up to them and sit at an empty spot that looks good. Introduce yourself with your name and they should tell you theirs. If it doesn't seem right, move to a different table. You don't want to hang around the drug dealing gun carrying crowd!

Join a club or just talk to the ppl u find interesting, I'm sure they won't kill u. Just go for it.
