I am a healthy weight?

I am a 13 year old 5'3 girl and weigh 84 pounds, is this a healthy weight or do I need to put anymore on?

    Your BMI or Body Mass Index, is 14.88. This means you are underweight. A healthy BMI starts at 18.5. Which, at your height, is about 105 lbs. So most would say you are 20 lbs underweight, however, BMI calculators do not take into account bone density and frame size. So weighing 100 lbs could be okay. Putting on say, 15 lbs would be smart and healthy. I hope this helps.

  • That does seem awful skinny sorry to say it, but hey we are all different! Dont focus on putting on weight..focus on being healthy. Your goal weight should be about 100lbs. Eat lots of proteins and healthy fats(Avacado is a great example of healthy fat) And if you do tons or cardio(running) maybe only try to do that about 2 times a week
