Do Nintendo DS games work for Nintendo 3DS?
Specifically, Animal Crossing.
I bought Animal Crossing for Nintendo DS for my friends birthday but she has a 3DS. Is that okay or do I need to get a different game?

Yes Nintendo DS games do work for Nintendo 3DS. But sadly the game will not be able to work in 3D mode. So yes it would work but it wont be in 3D. oh by the way! i have animal crossing for Nintendo DS and it is a great game! nice pick :)
