The rule here is that any layer that is the basis remains the basis until uprooted. In other words if you made complete wudhu and then put socks on then shoes on, then your shoes is the basis for masah. Once the second layer is lost, then the initial layer becomes the leading basis for masah. So if you have shoes on and you break your wudhu, then you can continue to make masah over your shoes up and until you take them off. The moment you take your shoes off then your shoes has lost the state of being the basis and the basis is then transfered over to your socks.
This phenomenon of masah last for a 24 hour period while in your place of residency. Thus after 24 hours, no matter if you still have your shoes or socks on, your state of applying masah is inapplicable by whicc you must complete a full wudhu to renew another 24 hour period. If you are travelling then the period of time is extended to 72 hours.
Source(s): If you're sure there's nothing impure on it then yes, but if there is a possibility it's not pure which is likely it's best to take them off and pray in your socks if you can. According to a Bukhari Hadith, Anas ibn Maalik was asked, “Did the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) pray wearing shoes?” He said, “Yes.” (al-Bukhaari, 386; Muslim, 555). - IslamLv 67 years ago
No, you can not.
The shoes are not clean and one of the necessary ritual of pray is cleanness.
For Wudu you should remove your shoes and also during the Sujud your feet toe directly should be on floor.

A Muslim guy told me is that, we can pray with our shoes on. He said, when people from early days used to be in the desert, they performed their prayers in the sand with their shoes on.
Any question, speak with an Imam.
