Is it possible to be divine?

Divine: "emanating from God; being or having the nature of God; excellent, beautiful, creative".

It is not possible for any human being to be divine because we are all born with the sinful nature (as descendants of Adam and Eve, who had their children AFTER disobeying God's command and being banished from Eden).

The ONLY exception was Jesus Christ. He possessed divinity because He was the only person ever born into this world without sin AND the only person ever born of the Holy Spirit.

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

No, divinity is completely imaginary.

The concept goes back to times, when people lived in caves and wore animal skins.

It is inexcusable to believe in any sort of god in the 21st century. People need to wake up to reality.

We all belong to a deity. We are sons and daughters of God. Some of us reach that realization, some don't.

I'm not sure you'd want to be Divine.
