of course you can. You can send any picture you want to. I would keep them somewhat civil because someone might look over his shoulder. Once he gets a hard on the DI will want to see it and everyone will see it.

A lot of things are told to recruits. One of the really important ones I wish I had known about is the ban on cookies and cakes. We were told we couldn't have them. It turned out the DI's kept them and we all got a sugar high the night after graduation. In those days, we went from boot camp to ITR, Infantry Training Regiment, they call it SOI today. What they call it isn't important . Send him cookies, the DI's will giver them out the last night!!!

Send him some pictures, for god's sake. Just keep them decent.

U can but I would wait until he has been there for like 10 weeks. In the beginning Drill Instructors pick on people more when they get pictures or packages. If you wait until the final couple of weeks it usually goes over better for the recruits.
