What's wrong with the State of Missouri?

I live in St. Louis. So I can honestly answer "A lot". Trust me on this.

Having traveled Missouri extensively there's nothing wrong with the majority of the state that other states aren't also having problems with. If you're looking at St. Louis and Ferguson in particular liberals are currently trying to set up a Detroit 2.0 by defending violent behavior and convincing black people that it's "racist" if anyone stops any black person from doing whatever they want up to and including theft and murder.

Missouri is known as "The Show Me" state. They certainly have shown us that they have no shortage of black thugs.

The state is run by democrats.

Nothing in general, but everything in particular.

My dear state of Missouri has a very corrupt South County Police Department, a viciously violence-prone Ferguson Police Department, and a rightwing Republican County Prosecutor (turned "Democrat" in 2011---on paper only---to win reelection in a Democrat year) whose dad was killed by a black gunman Robert McCullough and who routinely declines to prosecute any police officer who shoots blacks, including two suspected (not proven---just suspected) drug dealers in a North County McDonald's shot by police without provocation that never were brought to trial. In Ferguson, their Alderman Antonio French reports that a white police officer beat bloody a young black male who was not under arrest, but then filed charges against the injured bloody man who "damaging city property" by dripping blood on the backseat of the police car and on the uniform of the officer---true story.

Michael Brown, although a big guy, was an 18-year-old kid---a high school graduate who was two days away from attending Vatterott College in St. Louis and who was visiting with his grandmother for the summer before starting college. On the quiet Saturday morning, the teen and his 22-year-old friend Dorian had gone into a local store, Ferguson Market, used the bathroom, and then gone to the counter waiting for the store clerk, when Big Mike reached across the counter and grabbed himself some cigarillos, but he dropped them (the whole store video showed) and bent down to grab up the now-loose cigarillos he had snagged and left with his hands full. The owner DID NOT CALL the police and did NOT press any charges, so the Ferguson Police Chief Jackson out and out LIED about this event after one of their own, a killer cop named Darren Wilson, gunned Big Mike down for "walking in the street" instead of on the sidewalk. Wilson knew absolutely nothing at all about any shoplifted cigarillos when he targeted two young black men walking (WWB, walking while black) and chose to be authoritarian and confrontational: "Get the f**k on the sidewalk!" instead of simply driving on by or taking a less hostile-to-black-men approach. Yes, Big Mike had his hands full of loose cigarillos, but ironically this detail is what proves the cop is lying when he states "one of the men pushed him back into the vehicle"---did not happen. The cop got hissy-fit egomaniacally infuriated that two [less than human in his mind] black men did not immediately obey his imperial hostile command [the two men were actually close to where they were headed, which was across the street at the Canfield Greens Apartments], so killer-cop-to-be Wilson furiously backed his vehicle to cut off the path, straddling two lanes, and stopped too close to the men to be able to furiously fling open the SUV door without hitting them and then bouncing back closed. This is proven by the fact that the very next instant the cop had grabbed tall Michael by the throat in a thumb-press chokehold with his own left hand---and how could he do that if Big Mike was not standing right next to the door?

The people of Ferguson and surrounding North County communities have had enough. And I want to join them in their Right to Assemble "Hands Up/Do Not Shoot" demonstrations against an all-white brutal "us against them" (them being "subhuman blacks" or "unimportant low-income" citizens) Republican-rightwing-led Ferguson police department and a racist Police Chief in a town with a Mayor who claimed today on "Andrea Mitchell Reports" there "is no racial divide in Ferguson"---how OUT OF TOUCH with your own people do you have to be??!

This is fixable. VOTE DEMOCRATS, for one thing, and have some COMMUNITY OUTREACH as well as a DIVERSE (more than two token female black officers) police force.

There is a "Breaking News" report on MSNBC of an officer-involved shooting not in Ferguson, but about three miles away, when a supposed "knife-wielding" fellow was shot repeatedly by two police officers, witnessed by an Alderwoman, according to the police chief who just spoke to reporters. According to the police chief who spoke, the man was behaving "erratically" and said "Shoot me" while standing a few feet from the police officers and both officers, after saying "Drop the knife" shot the guy several times each.

Justin, my state is NOT "run by Democrats...our State Legislature is in majority Republican (rigidly rightwing Republican) control.
