Why are my hash tags not showing up on twitter? How can I get them to show?

Hi,

I'm using hash tags on twitter on my tweets so people can find my tweets if they search for the subject - however when I do a search they are not showing up in the list for that subject.

I've typed exactly the same word in but my hash tag and tweet not showing up...

HOw can I get it to show up, what am I dong wrong..?

    i'm pretty sure your own tweets don't show in twitter search. you don't see them with the hashtag but everyone else does. i've tried searching for my own tweets too and they never show up either
