Can a swollen neck and headache caused by an ear infection?
A week ago I got this pain on the right side of my head, which can I only feel if I shake my head. Feels like if my brain was loose. This passed Tuesday I went to the doctor since the pain wouldn't go away. He said that I have an ear infection, which is causing the pain. He prescribed antibiotics and painkillers. So far nothing has changed, and I noticed a the right side of neck is swollen, right behind my right ear. My question is, can an ear infection cause my neck to swell and and cause the pain on my head? I feel no pain on my ear. Should I consider a different Dr?

That swelling is lymp nodes and glands , the pain is radiating from your infection, wait until you have finished the entire course of antibiotics an if there is still no change go to your gp and explain this
