What to expect at my first Army ROTC PT?
Woops forgot to add a description. Essentially, I am an MS1 cadet that just started on Thursday. PT is voluntary but highly recommended since I am not a contracted cadet. I planned to go twice a week since it works with my class schedule although I wish I could do all four days M to Th. I started running around 2 1/2 weeks ago and my endurance is good if I run at a steady pace. However I can't do push ups or sit ups if my life depended on it.

PT for ROTC is more of a teaching event for the MSIIIs than anything. You will have an MSIII leading the PT session, by the book, and he/she will be evaluated on it by an MSIV. As an MSI/II you will be a training tool.
