Yes. Your eyes are almost full sized when you are born. This is why babies and children have large eyes, proportionately. We often associate cuteness with youthfulness so boom, that's why big eyes are cute. :P

It may well be based in the human sexual response, because the pupil of the eye dilates (increases in size) when viewing someone attractive, ( http://www.google.com/search?q=dilated+pupils+mean... ) and I suspect (although I have no information, but check out http://www.google.com/search?q=eyes+open+wider+mea... ) re "eyes open wider mean sexual attraction".
So, if you perceive someone as being attracted to you, there is an increased probability of you being attracted to them.

bc you are attracted to them. much like how some ppl are attracted to smiles, or booty, or abs, or thigh gap (lol btw), or hair, long legs, short legs, etc
