Is Michal Wren's Weight destroyer program a scam?

Seriously, what is this weight destroyer program all about? Someone really used the methods that Michal Wren recommends inside? If yes, can you please provide more details about the program and your results? Just want to be sure that it is not another "weight loss scam"....

Thanks for the help

I don't know if it's a scam or not as I'm still trying to figure it out. First of all there are quite a few typeos' in the booklet. But I attribute that to bad editing. What I find confusing is that recipes are provided but no serving size is noted. I had to send an email to have that issue cleared that up. Also on one hand the booklet states avoid fruits and vegetables while at the same time stating have 2 servings of vegies a day and 2 servings of fruit a week It also says avoid processed foods like white flour yet some of the recipes provided call for white bread. There are other contradictions also. So you draw you own conclusion I for one remain on the fence with regards to the claims for this program..

I didn't buy the ebook or anything like that so I can't attest to the magical though scientific knowledge that was touted by Michael's nephew Stephen.

What I can say however is this, when I quit drinking and smoking I traded those vices for another - food. I began to eat more than my usual lunch and dinner (with no breakfast), instead moving to breakfast, early lunch, late lunch, dinner and dessert (all pretty sizable portions). All the while snacking on something sweet like chocolate, liquorish, gummies, banana chips, etc. through out the day.

I was sure that I was going to gain a crap-ton of weight (which would have been good since I only weigh around 120 lbs and stand at 5'7". What happened to my surprise was that I actually LOST weight ... I went down from a size 32 waist to a size 29 in the span of 4-5 months and it seems that no matter how much I eat for the day my metabolism is on overdrive and I just barely manage to not loose or barely loose weight that day.

The reason I'm telling you all of this is because I noticed a lot of what this Michael guy was saying was incredibly close to my own habits. I don't exercise, I eat what I want (of course I do enjoy veggies and fruit 'til my hearts content though) and only drink about 4 glasses of water a day. Because of that I think that there MAY be some merit to what he's peddling.

If you notice there are no links to buy this ebook attached to this message and as I hope you understand I'm neither endorsing nor condemning this diet or whatever it exactly is. I'm just throwing in my 2 cents, take it or leave it.

For those of you who bought the ebook, good luck I hope it works and for those that didn't good luck in finding something that works for you. :-)

I agree - thankful for Yahoo answers. I wasn t going to buy it, because I could tell from the - what 15 minute sales pitch that he claimed was going to be 5? - that he was trying just a bit too hard. No solid information about what his plan will really do or require. No credentials. Claims that fly outrageously in the face of science (exercise 30 mins a week? Really? Don t drink the recommended amount of water a day? Nice try.) What I found interesting is that this guy is good - Almost every other link I clicked that claimed to have an honest review lead straight to another link to buy the product. The only way I have ever been successful at losing weight, keeping it off, and feeling good was by eating 5-6 smaller meals spread throughout the day, focusing on increasing the protein and cutting out the garbage carbs, sugar, and junk food. Oh - and yes - I exercise for an hour each day (certainly not all high intensity!)- although this can vary for each person.

Well lets see. He is actually giving you something for your money so an outright scam is not the problem. It may not be worth the price but it is a tangible object. The main questions would be; Does it work? Can it make you sick or sicker if you already have a problem? Is the guarantee actually in effect by returning your money with no questions asked? Has anyone filed a legal complaint if yes what is the charge/charges? there are more but I am sure you get the idea. I for my own part wanted to see exactly what and how he was going to try and get money. His I will reveal shortly how...is misleading to say the least but I would bet he consulted an attorney to be borderline legal. Ask yourself if I use common sense do I need the book? For most people listen to your body and use your mind and you can overcome most anything. But, do not look for a crutch and avoid an enabler if you have a problem. Seek out help that will give you honest answers. Sometimes those who love you will give you what you want not what you need. Take care all and enjoy life. Robert Taylor DAV

I just heard the pitch for this program myself but haven't tried it. What annoys me tremendously are all these fake reviews (see most of the above). You can tell by the absurd attempts at English that they were generated by software. I know such software exists because I do some internet marketing myself and have seen them. Every one of these reviews also has an affiliate link below them so you buy the product through them. This practice is annoying as hell and makes it very hard to get any decent information about a product.

I'm sorry that I am not able to provide you with more information on the program itself. I just wanted to let you know that most of the responses above are fake. Good luck!

So tired of these "next few minute" pitches that last 20+ minutes - that they were going to charge$200+ (easily worth it) but it isn't the money - they just want to "help" people so the current going price for these things seems to be $39 (and if you leave the page - you get another discounted price - on some of them you can get even a 2nd discounted price) - I have tried a number of these scams (figuring that they probably don't work, but willing to give it a try - only to have to go back and get a refund (I only order when there is an unconditional guarantee). All these too good to be true program are exactly that - not true - they just pray on the hopes of people looking for the easy way out.

It is the longest 'Weight Loss' presentation I have ever listened to. It didn't tell me anything I wanted to hear i.e. - how I can achieve weight loss in a sensible way without going on a faddy diet or going to a boot camp. As far as I can see the only way to sustain your weight at a certain level is to eat healthily with the odd treat and to take regular exercise so that you use up more calories than you are taking on board.. Some of his claims seem preposterous. Exercising for only 30 minutes a week is better than nothing, but not enough to lose weight or keep excess weight from returning. Any presentation that waffles for so long but doesn't actually give any real ideas to the listener as to how to do it must be a scam. I kept listening for as long as I could stand it - hoping it would be different. In fact I was sooo bored and disgusted - I went to the cupboard and opened a packet of liquorice Allsorts. Not impressed.
