I need to know about painting a porch and walkway.?

Update:

My home is older. The front porch is really just a stoop, approximately 6' x 5'. There is a walkway about 4' wide leading to it. Both are rarely used as we use the carport door. We have recently put on a new metal roof in a bright "Patriot Red" color and have been working on changing all the exteior trim to match. We used an exterior paint to do the stoop and walkway but it has already started fading to pinkish. What should we do to ensure the highest durability and color? Both concrete.

Be careful when painting concrete that you don't leave a slippery surface. Anyone can slip and hurt themselves if it rains and they can sue your ***.

You have to use an oil-base primer and oil-base paint. Durable and water resistant as hell.

Both must be oil-based otherwise your mixing water (latex) with oil, and water and oil don't mix.

Great advice, thanks, but how do I keep it from being so slippery when wet?
