    Well, I've wondered the same thing myself for years. Example, why do they get all upset over a simple nativity scene? If they believe Jesus is a fictional character, shouldn't they get just as upset over Santa Claus?

    Anger =/= Disbelief

    Any idiot should be able to figure out that no person can hate anything they don't believe in. I might hate Kevin Sorbo. He is an ineffectual, emotionless actor, but unfortunately for Hollywood, the idiot still exists.

    Given that Sorbo took part is a grossly dishonest 'movie' recently, he has ZERO moral standing to express any such criticism of anyone else.

    And, if he really said that, he just proved that his brain has not worked in many years, which might explain his appalling choices for 'acting' roles and abilities.

    We don't give a fig for your non existent claimed deity, we DO have issues with YOU lunatics repeatedly trying to force your religious delusions into our public laws, institutions and schools.

    “Theists, especially Christians, try to control and restrict us based on their views.

    If all Christians stop crusading against science, education, culture, art, sex and sexuality, religious freedom and such, stop dishonestly misrepresenting your beliefs as facts, and stop telling everybody else they're going to be tortured throughout eternity unless they join you, I assure you that you won't encounter nearly as much hostility.”

    It's not that I'm angry with God or the Bible, it's that I've been subjected to the same impossible nonsense for fifty-five years and not one Christian has ever had the decency to allow me the human dignity of embracing my own opinions. If Christians didn't proselytize, I certainly wouldn't be bitching at them.

    As Kevin Sorbo knows full well, atheists don't get angry about a non-existent entity, but about the toxic and intrusive behaviours of many of those who do believe in it.

  • 7 years ago

    Not sure who Sorbo is, but I assume he has never met nor heard of any atheists. Clearly no atheists have ever been angry at any gods, it is not even possible.

    ZOMG! Kevin Sorbo said that?

    Well, if a B-List actor says it then it MUST be true!

    What's next? Criticism from Kirk Cameron?! Heavens forfend!

    Atheists on Kevin Sorbo : "I'm sorry, who were you again?"

    1.) It's not "anger" to insist on evidence before we'll take you or your imaginary friend seriously -- stop playing the victim.

    2.) If you and your benighted brethren would simply quit trying to force everyone else into behaving as if we share your collective delusion, religion would be a complete non-issue for the vast majority of atheists.

    Just another Liar for Jesus. Atheists are not angry at any god. We can get angry about the abuses perpetrated by the religious, but we're not angry at any imaginary gods.
