Is Lleyton Hewitt One Of The Best Returner's The Game Has Seen?

He has a good return of serve; however, it isn't good enough to be 'his' shot, such as Nadal or Federer's forehand, or Djokovic's backhand. Or even lower ranked players, such as John Isner and his serve. I don't know. Lleyton Hewitt definitely has (had) one thing going for him: He is quite good at wearing down his opponent. That is how he has succeeded for so many years. His endurance and never-say-die attitude.

As far as good returners of serve go, Djokovic and Murray are fabled to be the best, generally due to their constancy with the return. I however, fancy Giraldo's. He can hit so many return winners in a match it's ridiculous. Maybe not extremely accurate, but definitely more accurate then anybody else trying to hit that shot! I was watching the Lleyton Berdych match and a commemorator said he couldn't think of one shot of Lleyton that was world class, except a shot he uses infrequently - his volley. His volley is up there for sure - with Lleyton even though he doesn't net rush you would have to have rocks in your head to lure him there. I am scratching my head. I always thought Lleyton had one of the best return of serves around. Or is it my imagination? What do others think?

I wouldn't say the best ever..don't get me wrong he's a great returner but I'd say Agassi is just as good maybe even better than Hewitt,
