Should I draft Peyton Manning with the first pick of my league? I draft at No. 1 and was considering him or Jamaal Charles.?

Check the scoring. If the league awards 6 points for touchdown passes then Manning (the good one), Brees and Rodgers are going to put up more points, by far, than anyone else in the league. It would make sense to go with one of them.
Charles was the top fantasy back last season and I read an article the other day that said the top back from one year rarely makes the Top 5 in the ensuing year; it's been done once in the last 5 years so Charles may not have as big of a season as everyone expects.

With the #1 pick I would go A.P or Charles. I have a feeling A.P. is going to walk away with a 1300 yard 8 TD with 45 catches for 300 yards. He is going to be a monster this year in Turners offense, unfortunately I was not able to get him in any of my leagues. You should check out the link below, it helps me throughout the year.

J.C. And draft another RB in Round 2. A great QB will earn you big points in many matchups, but the top-tier RBs are what will win the league.

Pass on Peyton and grab JC with your first pick. On your flip with back to back, look for a top tier WR that could fall your way and perhaps another RB/WR. If Brees or Rodgers is there, consider getting one of them with your 3rd pick if you really want a top tier QB

if it is a ppr league, i wouldnt mind taking peyton manning. the differential between him and the other Qbs is greater than the differential between the #1 RB and the other RBs
