Will the price of wheat go up when Russia start running their tanks through the fields?

Putin is rather predictable for women who have ever dealt with what we call the "short man's syndrome"...an aging egomaniacal mid-life-crisis guy struggling between his desire to have control (a sign of insecurity) or the appear "heroic" in the eyes of the world.

For now, the Russian President is trying to maintain "deniability" by denying any direct involvement with the pro-Russian separatists while he continues to sneak in some support. Some of the harsh economic sanctions placed upon Russia to steer Putin away from all-out aggression will cause increased prices for food inside of Russia, and there are no business loans or expansion loans his cronies had counted on having (international banks are helping with the sanctions), so my guess is that if he can find a way out by appearing like the hero (doing what President Obama has asked of him, but making this seem as if it is all his idea), Putin is going to do what the U.S. has asked: (a) Help rescue the separatist-held hostages; (b) propose and then back 100% a cease-fire; and (c) stop sending equipment, troops, and weapons into Ukraine. He has to strut his banty rooster strut first, flex his muscles, be the mouse who roars, and then maybe Putin will back off.

Yes, then Obama will declare a global grain embargo against Russia with the other grain producers of the world, causing Russia to declare war just to avoid mass starvation.
