Does hooking up batteries in series increase their amperage and does 2150 mpa hrs mean 2150 thousands of an amp?

Update:

I meant 2150 MAH. How does that convert to amp hours? Is that the thousands of an amp hour?

Series connection increases voltage. Current stays the same.

    2150 Amp-hours??? That's a HUGE a-h rating. A STRONG automotive battery is 120ah or so.

    An amp-hour is exactly that.

1 ah means 1 amp for 1 hour.

    100ah means 100A for 1 hour or 1a for 100hr, or 2A for 50 hrs etc.
