What would happen if you ate healthy, worked out and drank protein shakes but then stopped drinking the protein shakes but kept eating well?

Update:

So yeah, What would happen if you ate healthy, worked out and drank protein shakes but then stopped drinking the protein shakes but kept eating well and working out, would you lose muscle from not having the protein or would you just keep the muscle you have but not gain any?

You'd be richer, for not wasting your money on protein shakes.

Healthwise, assuming you added some muscle mass while on your previous diet, and by "eating well" you mean you keep a balanced diet that had enough protein to maintain your muscle mass, you'd probably maintain your muscle mass.

Protein shakes might not be that good of an idea really. I've heard it said that we eat far too much protein.... but then the next diet guru will tell you that we NEVER eat enough. So it's hard to know which "scientific proof" to believe.

Probably not much, most americans get too much protein as it is.
