everyone makes fun of my tan skin.. but its how is as born :(?
My family does mostly. It makes me cry a lot. They say I look bad in black because it makes me darker. I'm not THAT dark. I'm like a caramel color. Someone said "light skin is feminine" and that makes me sad cause I'm not white. You know how Hispanic, Arabian, and native Americans are? I'm that tone. Just the other day we were at lunch and all my friends (BY THE WAY THEY ARE ARABIC AND MEXICAN AND THEY R MY COLOR) they were like "I'm so pale!" I can't believe my tan is going away.. And then one said "I'm darker than all of you... Except for you..." Then she looked at me AND IM PISSED OFF BC WERE THE SAME COLOR!
also guys don't like me. I have colored eyes and tan skin and I used to think I was pretty but no guy really ever looks at me... Ever. I'm a tomboy too and get made fun of that.I'm starting to hate myself what am I supposed to do?! Also I tan easily so I look darker than I am.

I am paler than a vampire, and I hate my white skin! Be happy with the way you are, and don't let them tear you down! I guarantee you that 98 out of 100 white girls would love to have your beautiful, tanned skin. And I'm really sorry if this is your family, just try not to let them get to you, even though I know it's easier said than done. God made you perfectly, so don't ever wish you were someone you're not! Be you.

You sound beautiful. There will always be haters and shitty judgments about which exact shade is the best shade... screw them. They are insecure people. When people give you ****, you smile warmly and say, "Huh. Well, I like my skin at least, so there's that." There is literally no way they can argue with that. Even if you don't feel it 100% of the time, confidence is very much a fake-it-till-you-make-it thing. Act confident, people will see you as confident, you start to feel confident.
Regarding boys- haha trust me girl, they are looking, just when you don't notice. You sound like you're in high school, plenty of people don't get a lot of love life action till mid-college. That gives you plenty of time to focus on yourself. Have fun being confident, try fashions your interested in, keep enjoying your tomboy stuff, keep thinking about what is awesome about you, you are probably pretty awesome. Keep it up.
